Find the page in the Operator's Guide. It will be on page 321. There it will explain everything. If you do not have a OG then you can find it on korg.com
by clicking on 'Info Central' then clicking on 'Support.' Select the M3 for the info you need then download the M3 OG as a PDFile

I Agree Somewhat
Yes the M3 does have some pretty good sounds and I thought it was only me. However, you can sample sounds from the Triton Extreme. And I also do not like the way keeps switching the sound engine. Back in the day you could load in sounds from different models.

If the M3 is like the Triton Series then you are able to plug a standalone cd player via USB and specify where you want the start and endpoint for the sample. Check your manual for more info as I do not have the manual in front of me now.
