In case someone needs an alternative for pu 2 triple pedal

Hi everyone. This solution works 100% on sp 280 and sp 170. I guess it works anywhere a pu 2 triple pedal goes. Tried to find relevant info online, but since i couldn’t find anything, i studied the service manual of sp 170 and came with a simple diy approach. First of all, the pu 2 is connected with ...

Korg M1 repair- power supply wrong connector

Hi everyone. I guess some of you are familiar with M1 repairs so may be able to direct me a bit after a mistake i’ve made. I’m in the middle of repairing an old M1. The synth was powering up normally, screen good, really bad sound on the headphone and bad volume fader. Took the boards out. Replaced t ...

Korg EX 800 sysex msg / dumb

Hi everyone I recently found a good old Korg EX 800. It has fullmidi sysex implementation etc (unlike the first Korg Poly 800) and it’s similar to the Korg Poly 800 ii on the midi front. Apparently capable. My question is if somebody has acheived any midi sysex dump (to and from a computer) and if s ...

Thanks Sharp for the info anyways.
If you ever manage to record something to compare the sound through kontakt and wavestate (simple pianos like grandeur, gentleman or even the factory library pianos and epianos), it would be fantastic for any future reference

Any online video or audio clips

Really thank you Sharp. The way you present is pretty convincing. I wonder why nobody has done a video to show this really useful feature of the synth. Even korg itself. I mean it would be a selling point. I guess a big one. Having a sampler for other libraries it could be huge. In combination with ...

Yes, both my Wavestate and ModWave are full of orchestral sounds, piano’s and generally my most favourite samples. If 4GB is enough space for you, then the Wavestate or Modwave are good options for size, weight and cost. . Thanks Sharp for the reply. 4gb is a great amount of space. Some more q ...

Wavestate (also) for loading piano sounds

Hi everyone. New in here. Since i’m considering the wavestate as future purchase i think i’m in the right pkace to ckarify cert ain things. I don’t like to play pianos with plug ins, vst and generally anything that involves latency - even 10 ms or so - so I’m in the lookout for a synth that is also a ...
