Re:
Yeah, I wonder what, if anything, the nanopad would automatically map to on the Nautilus. I would assume the nanokontrol would default to timbre volumes in Combi mode??? But the nanopad…….don’t know, curious I can confirm this - NanoPad2 does not automatically map to anything on the Nautilus like it ...

Re: Kronos 3 sounds for older models
That would follow previous patterns, but Luciano did say it WOULD BE FREE at NAMM. So the possibility is there. I guess we will find out in the coming months.

Re: Kronos 3 CPU?
I have a Nautilus. It feels slower than the Kronos 2 especially when switching programs, combi's and songs. I haven't timed it, but the loading time is slower, too. I wonder if polyphony might be improved as well... who was that person who replaced their CPU with a i7-6700? And then found that ...

Re: Am I the last happy owner?
Aftertouch must be pretty expensive to implement in a keybed. Korg has been doing that with many of its keyboards lately to make products more affordable. Truth is, I don't really use it much, but when I need it, it's nice to have. You really can reproduce it with the joystick though, it's not ...

Kronos 3 CPU?
Anyone know what's inside this thing yet? Korg was very cryptic during NAMM.

Where would you even find the EXs Installer for those?

Re: Recording Volume changes on Audio Tracks
In the Sequencer mode go to the Controllers page. Assign Knob 1 to Mixer (top row), then Volume (3rd row). Now go down screen to Knob Track. You will see 16 boxes (mixer tracks). Check as many boxes as you want Knob 1 to control. This is pretty awesome, because you can group all the percussion ...

Recording Volume changes on Audio Tracks
I have a Kronos and I have a Nautilus. I recorded 4 vocal tracks on the Nautilus pretty easily. I put the SNG file on my Kronos and was able to record volume changes incredibly easily in those audio tracks because of the assignable volume sliders. Today, I tried to do the same thing on the Nautilus ...

Re: KORNOS MIDI USB problem
I've found the Korg USB MIDI driver so unreliable that I've started using the MIDI port on my Focusrite interface instead. I get way fewer MIDI errors and it's 100% reliable. Only time I ever use that interface is when I have to update the sub-firmware or something like that. I also found that just ...

Re: Nautilus multisamples - can they be installed in Kronos?
I'm surprised the new additions to the Nautilus ROM wasn't made available to Kronos users. It might be because the intention was that Nautilus would replace the Kronos and they thought we'd all just upgrade. Maybe with the next Kronos coming out, they'll make it available for purchase. For a fair ...

Re: Nautilus multisamples - can they be installed in Kronos?
When it comes to the Kronos, Google AI is such a faker! No it's not possible. You would need to *INSTALL* EXs 301 first and authorize it before loading the KSC file, but there is no installation file like you would normally get from shop.korg.com. I have a Nautilus at work and a Kronos at home, I ...

Re: Preventative Maintainance Kronos 2
Having dealt with a corrupted file system and also having to replace the motherboard, here are the steps I would take to prevent problems in the future: 1. Upgrade the boot drive to a 128GB SSD. That way you've for a faster, newer SSD, but it's limited to 128GB so you can easily run the factory ...

Re: Kronos 3 lives!
HI, Ive pre ordered a Kronos 3 as well. What we know so far.... They have changed the touch screen, probably using an updated type which they say makes it more responsive. I sure hope it's better than the Nautilus's. That touch screen is AWFUL. I touch one spot, it clicks something 5cm away. This ...
