Wow thanks so much for this, its really interesting. As a visual artist I definitely gravitate to anything I can see as well as hear. You can really see some of the more unusual ones immediately without having to audition each one!

Nice one ;)

Hold function - still on when off

I was making some new sounds yesterday and ended up using the hold function and arp to hear the sounds when making tweaks. I then switching both of these off. However holding some notes (mainly low ones) the hold kicked in again. (Light was off) It only went away again if I put 'hold' on again then ...

Thanks Robust The layer volume works much better at controlling the level, with each note seemingly reducing maybe by approx. 1db. I had to use the editor to work out how to do it, if anyone wants to know: I think the way on the unit is: Press Perform Use shift + page to go to layers Use the arrows ...

Arp transmit midi?

I tried to record the Wavestate arpeggiator into my MPC One when it was playing last night but no notes came through so I presume the Wavestate doesn't transmit the arpeggiator over midi? I think other Korg synths don't transmit the arp as midi either?

So I tried this last night and modulating the AMP level negatively to either "Prog #of Voices" or "Perf #of Voices" doesn't really seem to make much difference to the volume - it does make a tiny difference but not really useful for the issue. I wonder if I am doing something wrong? I was trying to ...

You can use the "Prog #of Voices" or "Perf #of Voices" as the source to modulate the volume negatively.
Wow thanks Robust American, I'll definitely try this out later when I get back from work. It sounds perfect. Thanks so much for replying!

I'm not sure, but if its works that good. Some other users and myself did have issues getting it to work full stop, but reverting back the firmware then updating again made it work and renames the device on windows to appear as wavestate01.

Volume / Clipping (Multiple Notes / Chords)

Hello, I'm wondering if there is a better way to control the summed volume of multiple notes/ chords? Sometimes with the sounds I am making, if I use it to play chords the volume is way too loud and starts clipping but reducing the amp levels down of course makes one note too low. This is much more ...

Hi tealstonerick,

Not really sure how to help there. I guess maybe, witch off ad on and try again? Are you going to 2.10 or 2.10B?

I think there are other posts about this type of freezing.

Same problem with mine

This is exactly what happens to me and my Wavestate. I've tried every fix under the Sun but nothing works. USB does work though with my Akai MPC One, and with the editor so I cant figure if its a problem with the Wavestate or Windows (even though I've tried different PC's and its the same). I love ...

I Had a quick peak at the wavefroms list this morning and I cant see anything specifically called a 'supersaw' in this category. It has about 10 saws up and 10 down, from ms20, prophet etc. There are also plugin guru sounds which have some saws but I didn't really see anything standing out there ...

@1ABanane What you describe and show is exactly the issue I am getting. As the editor it is connecting this must be just a network connection. If I play the keyboard when in the editor, it doesn't registered the note played on the display (highlighting the key) which I am guessing would happen ...
