Correction, I used Partition Wizard, Partition Magic has been obsolete for more than 10 years.

Acceptable Voltage for Korg MR-1000 - External Battery

I was able to communicate with an MR1000 tweaker who said that 9.6V is fine, (less may work too). I then made an adapter cable for my Li ION ext computer battery which outputs 9.6 to 11.2 V. It works great and for a long time. Being battery, it should also reduce the noise floor, but I have not ...

Need Acceptable Voltage Range for MR1000

I intend to power from supplemental Li-Ion battery but voltage is not exactly 12V. I don't want the weight of a lead acid battery.
