I have the same problem but with the 4th parameter knob.

could be the solution something similar to this ??

I'm having the same problem with de R3. Though I move the knob to the bottom the parameter stop at 5 and moves beetwen 4 5 6. Sometimes the parameter jumps to where the knob is even if I didn't move the knob. This is happening with the fourth kbob, but once or twice happened with the other knobs too ...
