My two cents about this thread. I think the real limit of every existing arranger, at the moment, is that they basically sound "false". Let me explain: sounds are very good, rhythms are great, everything is great but an expert listener can recognize in a second an automatic arranger. The real next ...

USB driver for Mac

Hi ev'rybody, I'm having a problem connecting the Pa4x to my iMac (OS X Sierra) with Logic Pro X. The manual says that after the installation of the driver, two midi ports should appear: Pa4x Keyboard and Pa4x Sound. In my case, only the last one appears so that I can make the Pa4x play a midi file ...

Thank you for your answers. @Bernie: I don't know, I have to check but I don't think so because if I use the transpose keys they work normally. @Taletdk: I tried but it does not work. You can read the setting in Sbook page 2 but selecting the entry does not actually modify the mt. @mstodola: sorry ...

Songbook entries & master transpose

Hi everybody, I have a problem with songbook and master transpose: I would like to automatically set a predefined master transpose as soon as I recall a songbook entry. The manual says: "Song’s Master Transpose value. When the Entry is selected, the Master Transpose of the whole instrument is a ...

Hi Dom, thanks a lot. I supposed that cut&paste was the only way but frankly speaking it's a little the os behavior is a little bit stupid... Loading new styles without erasing the old ones (and without filling every bank with few items) is the most common option imo.

Saving the mic phantom setup and additional style saving

Hi everybody, I'm new to the Pa4x, maybe they are two a stupid questions: 1) how please can I save the phantom power on for my mic as a global parameter so that every time I turn the keayboard on it's the phantom power is already active? At the moment I have to enter the menu and set it manually ...

Thanks a lot, very interesting. Your one is the first really technical explanation I read ant it puts everything in place. Until today, I always read opinions based on a "ranking", i.e. lower step PA900/LE, next step Pa3x, higher step Pa4x. Now everything is clear, thank you. If you put in ...

Actually, I did not make the test with a midi file, I know they use the GM set. I recorded a live performance using styles on the LE, saved as a song (that is midi format anyway) and loaded the song with the 4x. Exactly same sound, no GM set involved. Interesting what you're saying about the fact ...

Pa3xLE vs Pa4x: is it that different?

So, I eventually took my time to test the Pa4x. I own a Pa3x LE and until now I never had the chance to test the the new model. Coming from the boiled down version, my expectations were very high (perhaps too high...). I have to underline that in this post I'm not considering the hardware department ...

STS and Songbook

Hi all, I'm new to this forum, maybe this topic has already been treated. I browsed a little but couldn't find an answer to my question. I own a Pa3X LE. I use very often the Songbook but I can't understand if it possible to obtain what follows:other than setting all the parameters I need for a song ...
