FYI,

I got this resolved.

The sampling was saving to ram would not no go longe than 33 seconds so I changed it to disc and then it allowed me to increase the sampling time in minutes.

I am now finally on my way to making my first sample CD.

Problem recording a WAV file

I also posted this on the Karma forum and have no answer. I really need to get this material burned. PART TWO: Mix the whole song to a WAV file: 1. To mix the song to an audio file, you use the Sampling page that is inside the Seq mode. Go to the SEQ mode page 0-8 [Audio In/Sampling]. 2. From the ...

All, Thanks much for your replies. I bought the DS-1H and I am very pleased with it. I now have a verson of the EXs2 concert grand tweaked the way I like it and it sounds terrific! On some transitions I found that it takes a precise and quick off/on touch of the pedal and cannot "cheat" or be lazy ...

Martin, That really clarifies it for me. I would love to be able to use the piano and apply Karma to it and thought perhaps the signal could be transfered to midi. There are things that I do on the piano that cannot be done on an electronic instrument especially with pedal technique and blending ...

Hi Stephen, Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad you are OK. Loading the Ex 2 is really very simple... Global / Basic / Upper right hand corner drop down / Expansion Setup / Exs 2 Concert Grand Piano / Hit OK After reboot, select your patch and have fun! :) Thanks much, I love simple and very ...

Piano

I have had a bad day including an accident where a semi truck fully loaded hits me from behind causing much damage to my brand new Charger and then he had the nerve to try to lie to the state police! Anyway, I am OK besides the damage to the car and a stiff neck. My point of this post is that I did ...

In version 1.1, we added the capability to enable/disable the half-damper's modulation of release time, on a per-Program basis. I'd suggest turning this off, and seeing what you think!

Thanks Dan!

I am on a mission to get the half damper pedal today...

Stephen, you aren't alone and there are few posts relate to the shortfalls you mentioned. If you are a classical trained musician, you'll find the half damper pedal not suitable for your application. Ironically the half damper funciton will frequently cause the sustains to cut off prematurely as if ...

I think you're in the right place, you can ask individual questions or ask a bunch at once, it happens a lot here, and you'll probably get a lot of responses. I bought a Roland EV-5 expression pedal, and it works great with the O. You can map it to control almost anything. You can also have a foot ...

As you have the 88 and are a piano man you should definitely check out the option of getting a half damper type pedal. For your crossfading duties an expression pedal and the Vector joystick are your friends :-) It's very rare to get a pedal in the box, Kurzweil are one of the few companies that I ...
