Maybe I should have gotten the 73 key instead of the 88.
Awesome, I'm so excited for you. I think you'll be glad you got the 88 after some time!

I look forward to hearing more from you and trying to help you with your questions!

Shipping shenanigans...

I totally feel for you on this. A similar thing happened to me with my Kronos 2 88. It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, via UPS Ground 4 business days in transit! But it was only traveling 2 states away. The delivery date was changed once their systems were updated to Tuesday. They assured ...

Dark or bright, every piano is right!

I couldn't agree with you more! I've spent hours going through the pianos making subtle tweaks and being simply amazed at the infinite possibilities! As I researched the Kronos one huge benefit I saw was the variety of finely sampled pianos! They'll never be out of tune unless I make them that way ...

Just curious, what do you consider your skill level to be? Do you play by ear, read music, or both? ...Anyway, sorry about the long story.... No worries -- it's nice to know a some of your history and it's a good one too. You certainly have a background with music and synthesizers. I think a lot ...

Heck, I'm just hoping that it makes me sound much better than my own lack of natural talent can provide.... :D Oh it definitely can make you sound better than you are, no doubt about it! (I would also add that the better you are, the more amazing you're experience with the Kronos will be!) I ...

Re: Design and fonts Kronos v Kronos 2

As much as I like all the new features found in the Kronos 2, one thing I miss from the 1 and X is the font used at the back. Personally, I find it more stylish. I guess that changing the font is a way of saying v2 without having to say so. Still... the visual cue is not as nice in my opinion. Ah ...

I'll buy and salvage a kronos 61 to build a rack.
I'll let you know how it's going
Anyone already did one? (A real one, not the wish pictures!)
Can't wait to see it!

Re: Adding a Sub woofer to your Monitors ( for the Kronos)

No, but definitely thinking about it... Would you mind commenting on what you think a subwoofer has added to your setup? (Obviously more bass, but more specifically for example, how it has changed the way your most common patches sound to you, etc.) Would you mind giving your opinion about the JBL ...

For studio monitors I would recommend JBL LSR 305 or 308. I just got the 305's after doing a lot of reasearch and they are amazing! The 308's are a larger monitor and therefore they have a lower bass range but the 305's are just awesome monitors and pack a punch with plenty of bass. I'm stlll ...

Yes, it's a big jump but not a bad one. You can be as simple or complex as you would like -- and starting simple while you approach the complex from time to time as you like keeps you in the right frame of mind to learn and be amazed rather than become overwhelmed. You won't regret your investment ...

Re: fan noise in Kronos 2?

Can anyone with a Kronos 2 comment on the noise of the fan? Is it quieter than the first Kronos? I sold my K61 because the fan really annoyed me after a while. Thanks I'm a new owner of a Krornos 2 88 -- (less than 2 weeks), and the fan in it is very very quiet at all times. You will hear the fan ...

Kronos 2 88 delivered tomorrow!

Hey everyone -- I have fantastic news! My Kronos 2 88 is arriving tomorrow! I've been studying this forum for a while and waiting to pull the trigger on getting a Kronos even longer. Well, the time has arrived! Actually, I was going to purchase a Kronos X, but when I went to place an order last ...
