I think this might be the case. I must have been trying to simply copy a drum pattern to a user drum pattern so I can edit it without recording it to a track first.Usually the message is telling you that you haven't actually recorded anything into the track / pattern that you're working on.

Isolating L/R outputs
I have connected both outputs to my audio interface but I can not figure out how to adjust the L/R "BALANCE" in the Mixer to send to one or the other.
Is this possible?

I guess it's a dumb question since each controller is "Sending" the same CC data to the Combi GCH (Global Midi Channel) so it doesn't matter which controller we use. The Timbre will still respond to the CC whether it's volume from a knob or foot pedal. I tried setting a User Control knob to CC#39 ...

If I set the four User Controls to volume or expression and Toggle them OFF for a Timbre in the Midi Filter Page - aren't they disabled for THAT Timbre?

Does the Arp send out midi data?
I tried searching but couldn't find the answer to this one. I want to use the arp to trigger an external midi device during live play from a combi.
But I can't get the arp to send out midi even with the Timbre set to EXT.
Is this possible?

Can anyone tell me WHAT the "Other" Control Change toggles are for and how to set them?
reference:
Enable Other Control Change Messages [Off, On]
Specifies whether or not MIDI control messages not covered
in the preceding items MIDI Filter will be transmitted and
received.

Isolated damper pedal in Combi
I solved this issue if someone else wanted to know about it ( I thought I saw a post some time ago) You can assign a foot switch to CC# 66 - Sostenuto -that will hold a chord/note after it's played Then shut off the Damper from the layer/split sound you want to "hold" separately and use the damper ...

I am trying to evaluate the software for purchase - (cheep at twice the price for the Arp converter alone!) But I am having trouble loading a PCG file saved or exported from the PC Krome Editor. It claims it is an unsupported format. Is loading a file saved from the Krome to a SDHC card the only ...

Yes - MIDI Out of the controller to the MIDI In of the Krome - and the Krome is in Combi Mode. I thought the different power supply fixed it but it is still the same - intermittent cut off of all sound whether triggered from the M-Audio keyboard or the Krome's own keyboard when the midi cable is ...

Midi IN maxes polyphony after 2 notes?
This is a strange one - I tried using an M Audio 49e . It works but I can't play 3 notes in succession with out the sound stopping short from either the local keyboard or the M-Audio keys. Has anyone had any trouble with polyphony like this?
