Hi all. A new member here. I just bought new to me Microstation. I really like the size and the sounds.

I downloaded the editor and the standalone version is working just fine. However, my Logic Pro X is not regognizing the VST plugin. I am using the last version of OSX Maverics and latest version of Logic.

Any hints? Thanks!

Is the vst plugin installed or copied to the Logic's Plugin folder?
Can Logic redirect/search to microstation vst plugin folder?

Yes, I think it's installed.

There is a file named "microSTATION Plug-In Editor.component" in the folder /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
And there is a file "microSTATION Plug-In Editor.vst" in the folder /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

The mS plugin is not in seen in the Logic's plugin manager, though.

All the help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I believe I found the reason. In Logic Pro X only 64 bit AU plug-ins are supported and I think mS plugin is 32bit. It seems I'm out of luck or am I missing something here?

You are correct mS vst is 32bit only: http://www.korg.com/us/support/os/

microSTATION

*2: A transfer error will occur while transmitting a data dump over USB-MIDI.
*3: The VST plug-in doesn't work with MOTU Digital Performer

Not a problem. Good thing is the standalone editor works because I want to tweak the drum kits. Maybe they will update it some day Smile Thanks for your help.
