|
|
I have the SQ-1 and the MS-20 Mini. I'm not getting any slide when I have it set to CV slide (the SQ-1 is connected to the MS-20 through the VCO 1 + 2 CV in and Trig in jacks). When I switch over to slide and select steps to slide it basically just turns them off! Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks! |

I had the same problem and had to play with my EG2 settings until I got a slide. I've not had the chance to spend much time with it, so I'm still trying to figure things out.
If you increase sustain and have EG2 not modulate your low pass filter at the same time, you should hear the slide.
I'm still amazed that the release knob seems to not have a function any more once the SQ1 is plugged in the trigger input. What am I missing here? |

Thanks for the reply! That does work although it's pretty subtle. I guess the MS-20 doesn't respond to well too the slide signals. On the Minitaur the slide sounds fantastic! My release knob still operates perfectly fine with the SQ-1 plugged in. |

that's pretty awful if what I am reading is the only way it works - how would Korg do this? especially seeing as they market the SQ-1 with the MS20 _________________ Live fast, ride fast |

I wouldn't blame the design of the SQ-1 but the original MS-20 design. The SQ-1 slide sounds perfect hooked up to the CV in the Minitaur. And aside from the slide issue, the SQ-1 is great with the MS-20. I love it! |
