|
|
Hi new guy here and very very green but eager to get my addiction to VSTs kicked and get this brilliant little synth up and running in Ableton (which I have only been using for 6 months). My synth arrived yesterday (love it) and I am trying to get it hooked up through Ableton – I have managed to get the midi into it via a Scarlett but have not managed to get the USB working the other way. I have downloaded the driver through the Korg website but when I load up a midi track with an external instrument my MS 20 cannot be seen….any ideas at all. Feel a bit of a fool to ask but I know one of you guys will nail this right away.

Hi,
When you launch the Korg USB config tool, afther hooking up the mini using USB, are you able too see the mini listed?
If yes, the driver exposes both a midi in/out port to all the software. Try to hook up the mini before launching ableton.
Last but not least, you may hit the issue, reported before with the Korg USB driver:
