You can use the 32-bit Kronos Editor just fine on a 64-bit OS. You just can't use its VST version inside a 64-bit DAW. This is a significant difference.
Still a bad show though. |

I mainly work inside a 64 bit DAW so that makes it annoying to say the least.
Not a deal breaker if I was looking to buy another Kronos but simply baffling in these days of software engineering.

I understood your point but its a workaround we should not need to employ.
It would be nice if Korg got itself together on this strange situation.

I have worked for electronics cos and once they make a decision , they mostly stay locked in.
I can understand how frustrating/time consuming workarounds can be.
My advice is, if you are determined to make a large co change its mind or invest resources into a necessary change, it might be beneficial to volunteer to join a user testing team. This will give you some inroads to Korg. You are helping them and you are learning how they operate.
If it were me, and I was as serious about flaws/shortcomings as you seem to be, joining Korg in some way might be helpful.

Some of us don't care about DAW integration via VSTi !
I'm not saying that you guys who want it shouldn't have it, but right now, this is a discussion moaning about the absence of an editor, not the absence of a VSTi.
Open your own topic to lament about the absence of VSTi and 64 bit, thank you.
In any case, you have 64 bit if you really want it. You just need to buy it from MIDI Quest. So you're really moaning that it is not free. Which is different.

I completely agree the Editor missing for 3.0.2 is pretty bad. |

I think some confusion is going on here. What Francois is asking about is the STANDALONE-editor version 3 for working with the new OS 3.0.2
Editor version 2 is not working properly with OS 3.0.2 because of the extended parameter set, especially in global mode and with the new SGX2 parameters.
And the question is entitled, because as you can read here:

...it seems that the editor is ready for release.
