|
|
Hey guys
im just wondering if i use korg zero 8 as a midi controller only, and to record audio in to my pc and sampler, will i have any of the hiss and heat problems?
I will be using my external soundcard
also will the effects be useable?
Also i seen someone who took the zero 8s powersupply and made it external, anyone tried this? It should help with heat and the pad issue

My power supply just came back from my tech. ALL condensers were busted. He explained me that the condensers are what dissipates the heat on this type of power supply, so he swapped them for some with greater heat tolerance.
Issues were no more output on all analog ports (XLR, 1/4 and headphones).
It cost me $75 CAD for the repair. He also suggested I just put a fan in it and everything should be fine. |
