Hey All,

Seems like you should be able to configure a split to allow use of the same octave on both sides of the split, but when I adjust the octave it affects the whole split.

It's such a powerful machine it seems like there should be a way, but I'm stumped.

If there's an answer, can you give it to me in small words, as to a child? Smile

Thanks!

Loretta

Yep it can be done quite easily.

After you've set the split zones, just transpose the sound(s) on the left side, up an octave or two or whatever you like.

Do the same to the sound(s) on the right side.

If you're in combi mode,
1) Go to Timbre Parameter page, by pressing the page button on the panel.

2) Go to the PITCH tab, and set the transpose as per required Smile

Remember +12 is an octave up, -12 an octave down

Ricky,

That sounds so easy, but I'm staring at my keyboard. I'm in Combi mode, and the pages I have are Main, Prog, Mixer, Arp (then Audio In, Controllers).

I'm poking around but don't see how to get to Timber or Pitch. They've got to be around here somewhere. What am I missing?

UPDATE-- I found it! Don't know why I didn't see that stupid SETUP button before. Thanks so much for putting me on the right path. You've made my life so much easier. Thanks!!

Pathetically,

L.
