I needed a human whistling sound so I created one from the GM whistle sound in the first few days I owned the Kross.
I saved it and somehow (obviously inexperienced user error) it was written in the Brass section over-writting "tight Brass"
I know one can return the Kross to factory settings, but in this case I have other programs and more importantly some combi's I've created I really wouldn't want to lose.
However I would like to to get tight brass back. Is there a way to do it or would I have to lose my programs/combis? |

- Save your programs/combis as a PCG file
- Restore the factory default
- Save your programs/combis (i.e. factory sounds) as a PCG file
- Make backups of both files.
- Use the editor (or PCG Tools) to move/copy programs you like to keep
- Save PCG file within PCG Tools
- Reload this PCG file in your Kross _________________

Hey MK, I've been looking for a way to use PCG tools, and although I have already downloaded it (free, thanks a ton for that), I have no idea how to go about it. Link me to a tutorial maybe?
Many thanks _________________ "Ask not what your keyboard can do for you, rather ask what you can do with it." |

I use a mac, and I don't really want to get a $75 windows simulator, so I'm not sure PCG tools will work for me. _________________ Stage: Korg Krome 88

Afaik not all windows emulators are commercial, some are free. In the manual of PCG Tools there are some mentioned, but I don't know by heart which are free or not. _________________
