So I got a Volca Bass on Monday. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. The one thing I'm not overly jazzed up though is the LFO.
Obviously this is a subjective this because it's probably perfect for a lot of folk, but for me, I find the the sweet spot that I like to have the LFO hovering in very hard to reach as it seems to be right where the LFO tempo jumps into really rapid tempos. Also seems to lack the punch of the LFOs in my other synths.
Anyone else have this issue?
It's not all bad though, I love using the LFO to controll the filter on slow rates for big, slow swells.
Overall, I'm loving this beast so far. |

have you tried holding the FUNC button while turning the LFO rate knob?
that should tempo-sync the LFO, if that´s what you want. I found it gives a couple more options for the tempo where the normal LFO would go into audio range, as you described it. |

Oh, that sounds interesting! will give that a go tonight!
I may have been a bit quick to rag on it since I've only had the thing a couple of days.
I love the sound of it though. Still getting the hang of trying to make adjustments involving the func button while playing the keys.
Played it through a big amp tonight, sounded huge. |
