Hi, quick question. I am trying to use my Volca bass with a couple of bass distortion/drive pedals (BOSS ODB3 & Behringer Bdi21)

The signal doesn't seem to be passing through to the pedals at all (I've checked the batteries!)

I've heard people mentioning reamping - Do I need a reamping box in the chain? I have a DI box, but I'm guessing that won't help?

Thanks in advance for any help Smile

My Volca Keys is being put through my Boss ME50b multi FX bass pedal and its working a treat so I dont think you need to boost the signal on the way into your pedals. You generally find that putting synths through guitar pedals increases the volume due to the fact that guitar pick ups are passive and ones that are active still dont send a high volume signal.

Thanks, I though there was an impedance issue between the synth and the pedal, the Volca being low impedance and the pedal expecting high impedance.

The pedal definitely work, just not sure why they're not playing ball with the Volca Bass ...

I've got a lend of a Boss LS2 for weekend. My guitar buddy says it has a 2 output setting where I can send one clean signal and one signal to an effects pedal and they are mixed into one output. You can - apparently - boost or drop the levels on either of the signals.

I was concerned about the hi/lo impedance thing.

Will get back with how it goes.

I;'d just run it: volca>pedals>DI>interface>computer. I'd feel comfortable with that.
