|
|
Hello,
Testing the excellent soundbank from Broadwave (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=638976&highlight=#638976), I've noticed an issue in the Common LFO transfer between Prog and Seq and between Prog and Combi.
Broadwave uses three Chorus Bi-Phase in order to produce this vintage string sounds ( GG025 : SOLINA ). The parameters are precise and allow this kind of "turning" sound. I noticed what follows :
1°) In Combi mode. I used "Copy from Program" in the Menu. So, I expected the same sound as in Prog mode. It wasn't. The sound is as frozen.
2°) In Seq mode, "Copy from Program" in the Menu. Same as above.
3°) In Prog mode : ENTER+REC in order to copy Prog settings and directly enter the SEQ mode : The sound is all right !!
So, the sound in Song 000 and the sound in Song 001 should have been exactly the same. But it wasn't the case.
Looking page after page, parameter after parameter, finally I've found what didn't work :
In step 1°) and 2°) the Common LFO parameters haven't been copied !
In step 3°) the Common LFO parameters have been well transfered.
In conclusion the Common LFO parameters are not tansfered when using the "Copy from Program" menu command. It's a bug in the software. It has to be known ! It can be easily turned around. |

No, not really.
The issue I mentionned in the post you give was not the same.
Here, I'm speaking of transfering Program settings into Combi or Seq mode. I didn't speak of that before. |
