Your app looks fabulous. I'm looking forward to reading the feature list for the software.

Hey thanks! It is moving along.. encouragement is helpful.
I have gotten a lot of questions lately so I will start posting more info.
Hopefully a video on some of the combi section in the next couple days.

Sorry for the delay getting this uploaded. Here is a short video that goes through the basic editing on the Combi tab.

Thanks for the emails with questions and suggestions always good to hear new ideas!

Looks excellent, ed! Just to confirm: This will be Mac OSX (Mavericks) compliable. What is your eta?

Thanks for the kind words.

This is running on Mac OSX (Mavericks) in all of the videos so far.
It will also run on earlier version of OSX

It also runs very nicely on Windows... and I might even make it available on tablets if there seems to be a demand.

Tablets? YES!!!

This app is going to make my life so much easier just running on a Mac. BUT if the tablet porting becomes a reality someday, WOW! I went the Kronos route instead of MainStage because of the potential problems (and extra set up / tear down time) with a live scenario. I know plenty of people do it, but I'm just more comfortable with a dedicated computer-based keyboard than a laptop on stage. However, I do keep an iPad mounted to my keyboard stand for set lists, lyric cheat sheets and break music.

My bands all have multiple lead singers and set lists have a way of changing in mid gig dictated by who feels strongest vocally on any given night at any given moment as well as reading the audience. On the Kronos I keep all of a band's songs in one setlist and don't have the songs setup in any specific order. If it were a matter of drag and drop on an iPad instead of cut and paste on the Kronos to arrange a song list during breaks for the next set... I'd actually have time to easily arrange the songs in order instead of fishing through pages for presets!!!! A tablet version of this app could change my life! Smile Very Happy

I uploaded a new video to show everyone asking me about the windows version of PCGed. This shows what it looks like etc.
All the functionality and look is really the same, so I just did a quick click around doing things I have already shown in the mac version.

ed, this appears to provide a terrific boost to workflow. Your work is really appreciated. I am sure many of us are watching this thread in great anticipation, but perhaps avoiding any comments to pressure knowing if/when you might make it available. Regardless, thanks for videos. It is great to see the possibilities with the software. Perhaps a pro version could even be a full blown Combi editor? wow.

I must concur. I'd say, just looking at the videos, "combi editor" functions seem to be in place. On that last comment, will your current intended version allow assignment of GE parameters (switches, sliders, drum maps etc.)?

By the looks of it, your software will be better than Korg's Kronos editor.

Best wishes for your completion. I'm fully aware that good things take time.

If I could actually build I combi with existing sounds and set keyranges etc without having a Kronos connected that would be great.

Can I also still open an edited PCG on the Kronos and load a bank or sound selectively?

Thanks for the kind words. Things are getting close. But, giving a date is sure to cause nothing but grief.
I am pretty convinced that the best way to go on this will be two versions.
Basic version will allow editing of everything on the "basic" tabs of programs, combis etc. A pro version would allow
access to most or all of the parameters available in a pcg file.

Specifically to your list. I do have a working version that allows me to change most of the KARMA parameters - I find that really useful in my work flow. The question becomes how many would find it useful and which parameters do people find they want to sit at their computer and edit and which do you want to be at your KRONOS tweaking.

Being able to control Karma parameters would be great. I really like the idea of a tablet version especially for the pro version!

The first part is exactly the idea behind the app. Get things built and arranged and all the text typed in at the computer.

I don't really understand your question about loading selectively.
