Korg did it again. BEAST!!!! And they are sooooo on top of it. WOW.

Dear KRONOS user,

We've just released a new software update for the KRONOS: version 2.1.1. This update fixes a problem introduced in version 2.1 in which note-offs from any MIDI channel were erroneously duplicated on the Global channel. Also included are fixes for a couple of older issues.

Version 2.1.1 also includes all of the new features from version 2.1. If you haven't updated yet, you'll enjoy the improved CX-3 engine and three new features tailored for live performance: real-time indication of the Rotary Speaker speed in all performance modes, a polyphony-saving option for Timbre/Track Mute, and the ability to assign external MIDI CCs (from a pedal controller, for instance) to a number of special functions. For more information, please see the updated PDF manuals and the onboard Help system.

Version 2.1.1 is free for all registered users, and available for download from http://www.korg.com/kronos/Support in the "Operating System" section.

Best regards,

KORG

Release Notes

KRONOS
61/73/88
KRONOS X
61/73/88

System Version 2.1.1

Dec 2, 2013
Changes Since KRONOS System Version 2.1.0
In addition to the new features from version 2.1.0, KRONOS system version 2.1.1
includes the following bug fixes.
In Combis and Songs, Timbre/Track Key and Velocity fade-in and fade-out zones
now work properly with the SGX-1, EP-1, and PolysixEX. Additionally, the fade
aspects of these zones are now ignored by the CX-3; in other words, the CX-3 will
sound at normal volume throughout its assigned Key and Velocity zones,
regardless of the fade-in/out settings.
In stereo HD-1 voices, in some circumstances the left and right channel LFOs
might not have been precisely synchronized. This has now been fixed.
In the initial release of software version 2.1, note-offs from any MIDI channel were
erroneously duplicated on the Global channel. This has now been fixed.

never had the issue with 2.10 so those with the correct setup that caused the note stealing might like to get this and give us some feedback if its fixed the issue for you. I am not going to bother as I don't use and external board Midied to the Kronos so no issue and 2.1 seems like a rock too me.

I was grinning in the other thread about the Leslie indication. I just discovered the "Live" version of muting where notes don't use polyphony unless the program is unmated before notes are played (mentioned in the first post in this thread).

YEAH!!!

Any chance you'll roll these features back into my OASYS too? Smile

Doggone it. I'll try it again. The last time it was a flash drive that had worked in the past. This time I used the very one that had worked to finally get the 2.1 to load up. Rats, rats, rats...now I've got to try and download it again.

Ah yi yi! Smile Smile

p.s. I hope I am the only one going through this.

Thanks Shaneblyth for asking. Hooray! The third time was the charm.
Now the 2.1.1 is updated...I hope I don't have to reload the organ stuff.
I had a rough day, so the Kronos shall be ready for some action tomorrow. Smile Smile

Installed smoothly and cures the bug that affected me - early cut off of Combi notes when using Global Transpose...
