I can't get the drivers to work on my Windows 7 64 bit - Lenovo thinkpad... Any suggestions... It shows up as an audio device but not as a midi device. It works on my macbook pro and lenovo SFF that is identical to my thinkpad.
Thanks. |

Try this:
1) In your start menu, select Uninstall KORG USB-MIDI Device;
2) In the window that pops up, select Next;
3) Click the Option...-button;
4) Remove the check mark in front of Delete KORG MIDI device only;
5) Click the Ok-button;
6) In the main window put check marks in all boxes that are not greyed out;
7) Select the Next-button and follow the rest of the instructions on screen;
8) After this uninstall procedure, reinstall the Korg driver. _________________ || My music ■■ How to embed Youtube and Soundcloud on this forum ||

|
|
I have been experiencing a problem with the Kronos USB driver over the last week or so. Every now and then I keep hearing a device connecting and disconnecting from my system. It turns out to be the Kronos. I also get a message saying that an unknown USB device is connecting. I have used the advice on this thread to uninstall and reinstall the driver. although this seems to work every so often the issue reoccurs.
Is this a software problem that others have seen?
Or could it be I have a dodgy USB lead? |

It sounds more like the USB cable (or port) is a little iffy. |

Before I installed Korg's USB midi driver, my Taktile was appearing fine as an option in midi menus. After I installed it, the Taktile vanished. Nothing I did made any difference until I found Yuma's post on this thread. Many thanks Yuma! |
