In order to support Sharp for growing the download section of IA, here is a poll that is a suggestion to see if there would be or not new contributors in the case this competition deadline would be extended.
Remember: you would just have to create 10 sounds.
Important: the competition deadline is not currently extended. Please consider this as a poll that would help everybody to see if there would be new contributors.
Please continue to support Sharp
Regards,

Hi Sharp,
Of course I would contribute to your competition if it's still open.
Anyway, I hope to post new sounds even if there is no competition once I'll have more time.
Best regards and good luck !

I couldn´t answer the poll since I already has submitted mine to the contest...
However, I urge you all to send your programs to Sharp for the competition - you´ve great chance of winning a Sample CD from Korg, since there is no voting (see Sticky - Competition Time)!
You might think that your programs isn´t "any good", but why not submit it anyway? Perhaps your sound is just the one that someone else has been looking for/tried to program for a long, long time? Every program counts!
Furthermore, your submissions will mean that the download area of IA will grow, enable you and others to get more sounds/programs for your belowed Tritons...
This has grown beyond being just a competition, it´s also a way of showing your appreciation for one of the guys that has made this excellent forum possible, and the one that has put more time into this than any other - Sharp!
So, once more - please submit any of the programs you might have programmed in the past, or try to program some new ones.
Most sincere,
Richard |

I would like to join the contest, but there are two problems to me:
1st: I own a Pa 80, and I'm afraid you guys are talking about Triton sounds?
2nd: I wish I could make brand new sounds on my Pa 80. I know it's one of the features but I don't know how to get around with it, I really need instructions for that (hey Arjen and John, can I get some lessons with you? ) _________________ With musical regards,

There have been 84 views and only 7 votes. Although a lot of people who don't have a Triton may view this thread, there are a lot of Triton owners not voting. I can not invest the time into ten programs. I might be able to do three. I hope the competition is continued for those who would put into the pot. If someone who has contributed in time does not want extra time added...they should say so! Otherwise, why not? _________________ “I’m into scales right now.”

I'd like to vote... but I can't submit any file, I'm still not able to transmit data from my triton and my powerbook...
too long vacation for me this year.

Hi Guys.
I sincerely appreciate the thought, but no, lets leave this competition closed. With nearly 150 views and only 10 votes, there’s no point in dragging this out.
I apologize that I haven’t kept to my agreement and notified those who entered of the winner. All I can say is trust me I have been so swamped and I’m feeling so tired at this point that all I feel like doing right now is falling over and sleeping for a week straight.
I have another day of hell ahead of me and then I’m free for the weekend, so I will get all this finished up and notify you all of who won by Video Mpeg.
Kind Regards.
Sharp. |

Too bad, Sharp! I hope you'll be able to recover well this weekend. Still my questions: can I send in sounds made on the Pa 80, too? If so, then I'll join next competition! _________________ With musical regards,

Sharp,
I had all good intentions of participating in this, and I even got 5 programs finished, but then life threw 2 curve balls at us.
1. I had to have a heart cath test done, due to a little spell I had about a month ago. Turns out I am ok. Just need to cut back on the caffine & quite smoking.
2. Isaac (our first baby) came a little early (32wks) for us! He is doing great & should be able to come home in a few weeks! I will post some pictures once he gets home.
