I have a silly question being new to the Kronos. I remember the old Casios having a "intro" and "fill" and "ending" on the drum section that was very useful. When we bought the Kronos, we thought surely, a $4000 key board will have something like this. I have yet to locate it. Would someone tell me how I have overlooked something so simple on such a complex machine? Thanks!

That type of functionality is generally referred to as "an arranger keyboard". The Kronos isn't one. Perhaps you might want to consider trading it in on one of the top-line Korg Arranger keyboards, with fills and intros and endings, if that is what you really want:

You could also just add something like the Korg micro arranger.
