Hi. This is my last "new age classical" work as I'm going back to writing synth pop rock songs. The foot pedal activated Set List SST was critical in allowing me to seamlessly go from patch to patch and create a lot of background pitch nuances e.g. for the strings and choruses while I changed sounds. P.S. I put up a petition on this forum a while back to suggest a "performance sticky" for showing all Kronos performances in one place for easy access. However, not enough people reacted to make the sticky happen. So, as long as you don't mind, I'll fall in line with the other posters who occasionally load their stuff within the main Kronos stream. Hope you enjoy. I certainly would enjoy listening to you wherever you are. Hal
Very nice! and something you cannot do with any instrument that is current to date, except the Roland G and Kurzweil PC series which I did not know, and recently found out.

Thanks Vangelis. Yes, even though I loved my former Fantom X88, I was always frustrated when I tried to make patch transitions with it because there would be abrupt cutoffs, not allowing me to make a smooth one. I love the beautiful piano sustains of this Kronos. Hal _________________ My Music: www.youtube.com/Halunlimited

Very nice sounding! Don' like the abrupt return to piano sound at 1:15, but I really like the atmosphere you created! _________________ Keep feeling good.

I understand exactly. That thought had occurred to me when I first listened to the finished piece. Then, with repeated listenings, I felt it did fulfill my original intention to create a crescendo of energy representing the transition from Spring to middle of Summer and then becoming relaxed again. Now, I actually look forward to hearing that portion. Of course, I'm biased : ) Thank you very much for listening and for your constructive comment. I'll keep it in mind, and try for a smoother (less abrupt) build up, yet still creating a crescendo, with a future piece. I'm very interested in how each new piece affects different people. That's part of the thrill of composing something and not knowing what will happen. Hal _________________ My Music: www.youtube.com/Halunlimited

great track, i would have add a little bit more reverb to it for the new age flavor, but that's just a matter of personal taste.
the absolute highlight in the track for me was the chord progression between 1:45 and 1:48. That's as fantastic progression and suits the other progressions in the song very well.
I've just heared the song once and still can remember the melody, so that's a strong melody you've created.

great job !
Great to hear from you and there must be some cosmic synchronicity going on because I'm actually at my keyboard right now working on a new composition and filling in one track using your "Healing Sun Guitar QR" program. It has an excellent sound. BTW, I assume that I have rights to use your program in a song I'm publishing. And that would go for all of Korg's, Steve Kay's or anyone else's programs that have been sold or offered free, right? Do you know what the rules are? Thanks for the reverb note. All my piano patches have some extra reverb on them. My weakness is, I sometimes go for too much reverb or too much bass (I love both too much) and thus I have to restrain myself. I will definitely experiment more and increase the dosage : ) Hal _________________ My Music: www.youtube.com/Halunlimited

Definitely, you can use the QR sounds in your tracks, no strings attached. I'm always proud if i hear people using the sounds i create in their own songs.

Thanks very much. I'll certainly credit you in the YouTube and KorgForums description when I post it. _________________ My Music: www.youtube.com/Halunlimited

If anyone knows what genre this composition would most appropriately be called, I'd appreciate your opinion. I initially labeled this series "neo-classical style" however, I was corrected by a listener. Although, some loose definitions of neo-classical might allow it. It's not pure classical and not pure new age. Any initial thoughts? Thanks. Hal _________________ My Music: www.youtube.com/Halunlimited
