will any of the volcas be able to trigger the monotribe oscillator? now it has the cv gate control. _________________ Peter Bailey |

The Volcas don't appear to send CV Out, only Sync Out (which is like a click track to keep them on the same tempo), so probably not. |

from Korg -
"Convenient functions for incredible ease of use
Sync In and Out allows clock sync of multiple instruments from the volca Series as well as Korg's Monotribe
MIDI In for note entry, plus external sync and control from your DAW
Go-anywhere analogue: play anywhere with the built-in speaker and optional battery power"
My R8 Zoom has a separate phone out - you create a click-track and send that out to my monotribes - it happily syncs my monotribes to my recorder...
now i will be able to grab the Beats and do same and finally have a drum machine that syncs with my 8 track - woo hoo
no more having to bounce around in a pc..
EDIT ** oops - i realise you asked *specifically* about the oscillator... i agree with previous poster on that point. |
