Just wanted to say hi.

I was just about to buy a Krome 61 when a used 88 came up on ebay so I bought it for just £60 more. Okay I don't get a warranty but I was a teeny bit unhappy with the play on the keys on the 61/73 models I tried. This wouldn't have been a stopper but I'm happier now and also find that the paino sound seems more realistic with the better keyboard - weird isn't it Very Happy

I only really need bread and butter sounds and the Piano's, EPs, Strings, Brass and pads are great. The organs are okay but I can't seem to get the C3 chorus vibrato effect like you get on the B3, A100, C3 etc. I'm gonna try the download mentioned above to see if they are any better

The guitars are a mixed bunch with the distorted electrics being better than acoustic or semi acoustic and the vocal sounds are okay in a mix.

The above is only my humble opinion of course and I am probably influenced by the Yamaha sounds that I also have in my Tyros 4. It's all a matter of taste after all.

But the bottom line is that I love the piano and having the full keyboard and heavier weighted keys I am looking forward to strengthening my chops.

Hopefully we will be able to buy additional samples if the experiences of the Indian and Peruvian users is anything to go by.

Cheers - Keith
