Virtual instruments are becoming more and more common in the digital world - Are the sounds created exactly the same as the original instrument?

Is this something that Korg could think about where they can create a full VSTi for the MS which would connect to the hardware and record this in the DAW in clear Audio with no ground loops ???? lol

Best of both worlds I would have thought!!!
