Member smstome told me in OS 1.6 bug topic

http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=77920

that I should replace CR 2032 battery for clock... How should I do that? Where is it inside Pa3x? Does anyone know?

I do not want to go to authorized service ,that is not an option.

Thank you all in advance.

you don't need to open the whole thing.

just open the left side panel and you will able to reach it and replace it.

i did it.

I'd like to look at my battery to see if has been replaced like they told me. Do I just unscrew the screws on the left side and it opens?

I called Korg about "ME looking at the battery" and the answer I got was "DON'T GO IN THERE......PERIOD!"

If I'm correct, no technician is going to know if I went in there and didn't touch anything but the battery? Korg said the second I open the case the warranty becomes invalid.

Technically (and legally) speaking, what has "opening the case" to maybe look inside have to do with invalidating a warranty?

If you open the screws from this side , you will be able to remove the side plates.
then if you see inside you will be able to see the battery.
it is located in the upper half.
