Look at the thread below on vintagesynth.com -
- it suggests Korg is about to release the MS20 Mini, a true analogue synth with mini keys. The post seems authentic:

After looking at the pics more closely, there are definite differences in the case build. I think this may just be genuine... but why not go for a full sized version, it wouldn't have cost much more to produce.
Apart from the obvious LED relocation by the volume control, the screws attaching the front panel and black "phones" socket... the left hand Wheel moulding is deeper than the Legacy and the keybed is also different (the black keys don't slope towards the back and the white keys have a deeper rectangular face to them.
But I'd rather Korg gave us a new generation Analogue (maybe, just maybe KingKorg is genuine too) _________________ Synth DIY Projects |

King Korg is that guy who lurks on korg forums of the same name...I'm assuming.

I remember after using the Korg DS-10 all I could think about was getting my hands on a real MS-20. So I've always been keen on Korg re-releasing one of these. But why mini keys? Such a waste. I bought an Arturia minibrute and its an excellent decision that they used normal keys. If this is supposed to compete with the minibrute, its a real shame if they keep those small ass keys. My hope is that Korg will actually use normal size and update the build with a few new features - to modernize it and not just re-release. For example, MIDI, an arp, etc. Time will tell, time will tell... |

If you guys are expecting an ms-20 to be as cool as the ds-10 you'll be dissatisfied. No AM, FM, sync, or osc2 sampled noise on the 20. Even though the 20 has more jacks I'd actually say it has less patching ability than the ds because you have to build things like the s&h circuit where the 10 has that as a source outright.
Where the MS excels is in tactile hands-on control and since it's analog you could feasibly plug anything into those jacks. You also have dual filters and pwm. _________________ paypal.me/CharlesFerraro |

I love gigging with handhelds and the ds can be taken anywhere if inspiration strikes. If the 20-mini has midi like its "advertised" above it will sync with more of my gear then my nintendo handhelds. _________________ 2xds-10, ds10+, m01 |
