Dear Sirs,

Whether the Krome 61 will accept other keyboard's PCG (i.e., TR, Extreme, M50, M3 etc.). If so, is any procedure there. Because krome is not accepting the songs (.sng) which we made in TR. So, i tried the midi (.mid) file of TR then it is opening, BUT krome is not accepting the PCG of TR. I expect your valuable suggestions.
B/regards,
SATYA

No it is not possible to convert PCG files.
Reason: different synth engine, different samples, different parameters etc.

.PCG is a general category for Korg proprietary Program/Combi/Global (voice parameter) data -- the numbers that control how a synth engine makes sound.

All .pcg are not equal. Some synths using identical or very similar architectures can use the same .pcg files. Often the transfer is partial or can only be done in one direction, as is the case for Triton Classic to Extreme, but not Extreme to Classic.

Krome can use M50 and M3 program data, and, I think, M50 combi data.

As MK pointed out, there is no compatibility with the TR because the engines and architecture are too different (i.e., location and number of multisamples, number of banks, factory voice locations, etc.)

There is compatibility for songs if they are saved to a format common to both synths, in this case both can use standard midi files. If you save your work on the TR as a .mid file Krome should be able to read it.
