I just watched a video on youtube of a new release from korg, while I dont want to ruin the suprise for anyone, I do want to know what korg's explanation for this release is? I do not understand the point of this release is? That is 3 releases in a one year time frame. Has anyone else seen this video I am referring to? Was there some defect in the last two because I do not see too big of a difference? I love Korgs products but I was not impressed by what I just saw..no offense. Still a loyal Korg user!

Yes Korg products are always great..just feel this release is unnecessary. Maybe its geared more for performance based players..not sure of the point of it! Kinda reminds me of the yamaha tyros..good product just not very purposeful IMO

Just watched it and surprised to see this new workstation. Looks like some of the features from the M3 are back like the cue list and looks like there's no Karma with this board. Still quite interesting.

Pricing will be the question. Will it be priced closer to the M3 or the M50?

Not sure how I feel about this
First and foremost it is by far the worst product video ever. Even the musicians seem generally meh'd (or still blown away by the kronos they have backstage..)

The keyboard looks like a glorified X50 (judging by the back panel)

the screen lags

they give lower paying customers a capacitive touch screen? wahh! and piano roll!!!!!!!! what!

Korg Japan has info. It looks like it is 100% PCM-based so it is VERY different than the Kronos. The EPs appeared to be 8-velocity layer versions of the EP-1 pianos.
