hi all, sorry for reviving a long dead subject...
I have finally started using my (lon underused) wavedrum as I am now learning to play acoustic drum....
catching up on all i have missed over the years, I have come across this brilliant work done on the spreadsheet ...thanks so much to all who put time into it.
I am just thinking out loud, but would it be feasable to add in a "random patch " generator....seeing as I dont really know what changing values is actally going to sound like, it makes sense to me that it might be an option to create a full bank of random patches ( on a per patch or an "all" basis, put them back on the wave drum and "suck it and see" ... gradually moving the patches I like the most into some sort of order, whilst re-randoming the ones I dont on aper-patch basis.
looking into the open office forum, I see that random between X and Y commands can be done by adding in further lines that contain the minimum and maximum values, but I wondered if anyone has a more elegant solution using what is already there?
thanks
