With much regret you will find that everything to do with hosting the Olympics is about commercialism. Clearly the Olympic Committee already have their spies out. In the UK, 500 people have been employed to ensure none of the sponsorship rules of the Olympics are transgressed - I joke you not.
For example - this is not allowed; come into our beer garden and watch the Olympics with a nice cold Cello ale.

It is somewhat contradictory that those who make the Olympics a spectacle (the athletes) are not allowed to make money, but those that sponsor it can must be assured to make it. _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5,
They could have chosen Roland, Yamaha, Novation, Moog, Nord, Access, or Alesis but, no, they chose the most awesome musical instrument company known to man...and the most awesome workstation ever made! Go Korg!!!

I see the video's are all being pulled on YouTube.
Wow.... what greed.
Sad, so very sad.
I suspect that it has as much to do with music rights as anything else. I imagine there were some big time payouts for music included in tonight's ceremony.
There have been TV series that have had issues being released on DVD because of tunes used in episodes. The songs need to be re-licensed.
I've seen the enemy, and often it is us musicians. _________________ Kronos 2 88, Kronos Classic 73, PX-5S, Kronos 2 61, Roli Seaboard Rise 49
