Hi all.
Thought you might find this interesting. Using Extreme Sample Converter I converted the free VSTi "Superwave P8" into a KRONOS Sample Library. Just over 1.4GB of sample data was generated and under OS 2.0 on the KRONOS it streams using only 123MB of RAM.
lol... Amazing.
Soon as your all running OS2.0 I'll upload the library to the download section here at KF.
Regards

Wow, I am impressed!
Can't wait to check that out.
If I may ask: Did you record this vst audio output or does it contain its own .wav sample?
Cheers!

Superwave does not use samples so the only way to do is to recorded the output.

I used the crap out of that VST live in an old band. Such a fantastic instrument - especially for free. _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

Amazing!! So how does it sound ? I mean how much of it sounds alike the vsti, is it close?
I'm thinking of sampling my favorite vsti's as well as some of my synths laying around here once 2.0 is available! _________________ Synths: Sequential Trigon6/Take 5/Korg Kronos 2 Minilogue XD/Prologue 16/Deepmind 12/Hydrasynth/PRO-800/Minimoog |
