|
|
So this may seem a silly issue, but I'm laying out some samples on the keyboard for another bandmate. In doing so I'm spacing different samples for different songs out across the keyboard so as to make it easier to keep things separate and not having to change between banks as often (which can take a bit of time).
What I've noticed is that where there are empty keys (keys without an assigned sample), they play the next sampled note above it chromatically or in keyboard mode?
Does that make sense.....?
Is there a way to just keep the samples confined to the notes I assigned them to? And then in doing so leaving empty spaces amongst the keyboard?
Thanks! |

I don't think you can, they have made it this way so as to be able to spread multi-sampled instrument/s across the keyboard, perhaps you could stick labels on the keys you hit, to make it easier to remember which ones. _________________ microSampler Rocks! |

What if you record or upload tiny, blank audio on the keys? So if they hit one of them, it won't make any noise.
Just a thought..... _________________ Korg Gear: Electribe 2, microSAMPLER, Mini Kaoss Pad 2, monotron, nanoKey, nanoKontrol2, nanoPad2
