The bug exists in firmware V2.0. The update also exists, at least on my computer. It fixes the described bug. No other problems so far. There are only minor changes if you binary compare V2.0 and V2.1.

I really wonder why they still did not officially publish it.

I would like to give it you, but Korg requested me not to publish it.

Sorry, I don't want to annoy Korg. Please write to their support, maybe German division, because they have a direct email.

Hi,

Korg today sent me an email with a new firmware for the EXB-Radias expansion board, labeled V2.10.

It should fix the bug that appears if virtual patches controlled by other virtual patches. In this case, it was only possible to use slot 1-6, not all 8.

I don't know if any other things were improved - it does not seem so....

Please ask directly at Korg USA. I don't want to post this link here, because maybe they just want to prepare something first.

well I have the update. Before I installed the update. I tested to see if I have the problem in the first place. Since i have never tried to control a Vpatch with a Vpatch. I do not have the problem you say will fix the problem. So I guess some people have it and some do not.

Well, my bug description I sent to Korg was:

Quote:
Virtual Patch Bug on EXB-Radias V2.0

If you choose "V.Patch 7 Int" or "V.Patch 8 Int" as
destination in the virtual patch area on program's
page 1, it will always address slot number 6 and
not 7 or 8.

Thanks for fixing this. If you will fix this, could you
also implement shortcuts for page 3-2 or page 7-2?
Would be very easy if we could switch directly to
page 3-2 by holding down "page" and pressing
two times "3". Or one time for page 3-1.

Sadly, they did not add the shortcuts Laughing
But they confirmed the bug and fixed it.

I also reported bugs in the M3's firmware, but it seems that they do not make any fixes for it anymore.[/code]

Found another bug. When writing a RADIAS program from the stand alone editor the mod sequencers are automatically changed from stepped to smooth. Anyone else have this problem?

I find it kind of funny that the Nintendo Korg DS-10 has that same problem. Doesn't make the switch when you save a song on the DS-10, but happens after you reopen the song file. What's up with that?

I'll definitely write Korg today about the RADIAS exb though, thanks for the suggestion, ffx.

I only have experience with German support, which is really interested in helping you. I wrote some time to Korg USA, using a web form, because I could not find any email. They not even did answer...

You can write in English, because the devision that decides everything is the devision in Japan.
