Hi,

Korg today sent me an email with a new firmware for the EXB-Radias expansion board, labeled V2.10.

It should fix the bug that appears if virtual patches controlled by other virtual patches. In this case, it was only possible to use slot 1-6, not all 8.

I don't know if any other things were improved - it does not seem so....

Please ask directly at Korg USA. I don't want to post this link here, because maybe they just want to prepare something first.

Well, I asked them to publish the link, but it's not official until now. So please be patient. I guess they will publish it as soon they tested it enough.

I'm kind of surprised. I didn't think they would put any more work into the M3, let alone its EXB-Radias expansion card. Maybe it was an update made a long time ago but never made public due to causing other problems?

Can you check if Korg added PolyAfterTouch to the parameters?

No, Polyphonic Aftertouch would require a M3 firmware update. I did just write about a EXB-Radias update.

I wont write an email to korg, just based on some rumors...It's strange for me that Korg released an upgrade for an M3, and notify to the users only by email, and not in the web...how can they know who bought an M3? new or used...strange....
