I have a korg m50 whenever I go into my GM bank it says intiprogram. There are no sounds... I tried resetting. Any ideas?

Have you updated the system to it's latest operating system? Even if you have I would suggest you go to korg and download and then install the newest version. All of the GM is available with that download.

Are you sure you see something like GM001 Init Program ?

its happend to me too! i dont know why, i havent any GM sound, all are initprogram bla bla bla ..... i will try to call the vendor o warranty here in argentina!

Tell us exactly how you updated the system files. Perhaps this is the problem.

I downloaded the file from korg. V 1.1 used an SD card to upload step one and then step 2. Nothing changed still no GM bank sounds.

hi! i found the solution! i chat with the warranty here in argentina, and he gave me the solution... he said that a couple of m50 came from factory without GM bank loaded...

its a .rar archive uploaded here:

inside are instructions for.

i have m50-73 and it worked for me! i have GM bank now! jejeej

The file you uploaded has been deleted :/ , can you re-upload it??
