Do the song files have a format that is compatible with other (KORG) synths? I wonder if I can load songs produced on other keyboards into my microStation...

If you load it up as a midi file, it should work like a charm. Once loaded, change out the midi sounds with the MS sounds.

And what exactly do you mean with "change out the midi sounds"?

In Seq. mode you can replace out the generic midi sounds/patches with the MS sounds/patches after you load the midi song to make it sound more alive.

Hi, just want to know about your footnote: KORG microStation V1.0.1
Is that mean you have a new Firmware V1.0.1 ? when power up the microstation or you refers it to the editor v1.0.1? latest editor is v1.0.2.

If you have the FW V1.0.1, where can I download it? There is no FW V1.0.1 on korg website. My microstation is just FW V1.0.0.

Thanks in Advance!
Best Regards, bradkorg.

Yes, my microStation shows "1.0.1" in the display when switching power on. I also can't find a firmware update at http://www.korg.com/microstation .
