Hello "MyLord",

Thank you for a such quick answer, and for welcoming me!

My last NEW keyboard I bought, was a korg 01Wpro, many, many years ago!

Hope I will not bother people with some more "stupid" questions, but the technology changed so much......

and the "search" page in the forum does not work.. Sad

here are the first ones:

how can I load less factory samples and setttings, making room for my own...?

is it possible to rise the RAM to 4, or 8, even 16 Gb?

Enaugh for now,

Thanks again!

All the best!

You can Go to DISK mode and you'll find the FACTORY folder where you can choose the EXi's you really need. The PRELOAD will load almost all of them (there are 10), BTW.

You can also expand RAM up to 4 GB and here you can find how to do that (check all my posts, I've put links to the thread). Also, soon we'll get an OS update to 1.5 and, amongst other things, we'll get extra user banks and the official support to upgrade RAM.

Welcome Smile

I use them heavily in my performances for gigging.

I sample the required sounds. When you sample you can highlight from the drop down menu to convert your multisample to a program ("convert ms to program")
Stick them into specifically-titled programs.
Stick the programs into titled Combi.

Run in Setlist mode.

Hope this helps a bit Smile

Dan

PS - no such thing a stupid question.

I am still waiting for my K73, but am planning to use user samples a lot (trigger using padkontrol). I was wondering: I have some quite long backing samples that I use in my band (up to 60 seconds), can polyphony be an issue, or: is it possible that the sample note is cut-of? Is there an option to set sample/polyphony priority or so?

You have "Timbre Priority" parameters you can set on COMBI and SEQUENCER.

Thanks Dan - including the "ps" in the end of your post Smile.

Any ideea if one of the 16 swithches on the control panel, or, maybe the two sw. upper the bender stck, could be assigned to trigger the samples?

It would be much easyer not to enterfear with the "live" playng on the keyboard itself...

And the last one for now, and very important for me:

Is it possible to make the samples "one shot", so i only switch them on and they play till the end without holding the finger on?

Thanks again!

Yes you can make them "one-shot" - tbh, I've not found a one-shot "tcki-box" per say, but I have been playing with the envelope instead, which will do the same thing.

Don't know about the button thing, although from V1.5, the micropad USB controller can be connected.
Of course, you can use the "touchscreen" pads.....

Dan Smile

Dan, you mean the tva envelope and setting release to maximum?

Can you be more specific?

Thanks!

I've noticed that some samples - quite long tbh., (about 40-50 seconds), are fading out even the release time is set to 99.

Any suggestion?

Thank you!

Maybe it's a bit trivial, but did you check both filter and enveloppe?
And other settings (effects, resonance, ... ) ?

Can it be reproduced by using e.g. a factory default organ program instead of your program?

That's it - just set the release to "track" the sample's natural envelope.

I have experienced this same problem. Samples that would play to completion on my G6 are being cut off by the Kronos no matter how I set the envelopes. I might be doing something wrong...
