The krimson strings was the only usable mellotron-string sound I could find on my M3. The kronos has a better variety of them and they sound more like an actual mellotron (and not to mention behave as one as well. 8sec long samples, and no touch sensitivity if i remember correctly as well.... I don't know why you would put touch sensitivity into an Mellotron sound as in the Krimson strings in the M3...which you had to manually remove) _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.

Can you point me to a similar sound from the Kronos?

| Unfortunately I don't have a kronos yet. But they are easy to find, all of them seemed to have the word "tape" in them, so just search for that in the program list. _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.
