At the time that I sold it, I had NO IDEA of what it was really capable of. I learned about WAVE ROM, tweaking, etc...AFTER I SOLD IT...
I really wish I had it back to program now... |
I can imagine that ... I only sold a Kawai K4 and the Hammond XK1. Allthough that hammond was the best I had somehow I partly regret it.
But it must feel wrong if you noticed it had more potential. _________________

i did sell it in order to purchase a m3... so it wasn't REAL bad, but it was bad enough to force a regret.
that's what makes it that much harder to sell ANYTHING in order to fund the Kronos purchase. _________________ Please subscribe and follow me on Youtube and Facebook for information related audio technology.

Guess we all should learn to never, ever sell a keyboard. Now where did I put my time machine? _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

Roland V Synth GT.......
I've never really regretted selling any synth as I always let the ones go I feel are pretty much redundant anyway....and I've always sold anything to fund newer gear
The GT I sold for two reasons, firstly because I already had the XT,and thought I wouldn't miss it, secondly because based on their current new value I was able to sell it secondhand and get back exactly what I paid for it 3 years ago....
Kind of do miss it though, but can't justify another one based on its 2,5k price tag now...Would rather get the JP80,but just don't need another synth ATM,already got loads of stuff in storage to be sold.. _________________ --Korg Nautilus~~Korg Modwave--Korg SV-1-Korg Wavestate-- |

The two I REALLY regret selling are the Korg DW-8000 and the Oberheim Matrix 6. The Korg went because I needed to finance for a K2000 so I guess that was a good reason, but why I sold the Oberheim must have been sheer stupidity. I think I was looking at some Roland or Korg module and sold the Matrix 6. What a mistake. While not as powerful as its bigger brother the Matrix 12, it was STILL one hell of a synth. I see them from time to time on FleaBay but servicing one of these I would imagine would be quite difficult especially because the Matrix 6 had that awful touch membrane interface - similar to the Roland JX-3P.
Ahimsa,

My Yamaha CSX1
Roland 303 Groovebox.
Those two were my bread and butter of my live Rave-PA setup in the 90's. |
