|
|
Hi,
I'm new with the microstation, but mid-level experienced at sequencing. The recommended SD card is only 2GB. That doesn't seem like much to me.
I hope to perform live sets using my microstation -- and I'm wondering if anyone is actually doing that with just 1 SD card per set.
Realizing it may vary according to number of voices and tracks, but how many full songs can I expect to fit on one SD card?

You'll have more than enough space on a 2GB card. MIDI data takes up a miniscule amount of space compared to audio files. _________________ Current Korg apparatus: MicroStation, MicroKorg, MicroSampler, WaveDrum, Trinity V3, M1REX, Wavestation SR, X5DR, Original Legacy Collection w/ MS-20 controller, iMS-20, DS-10 Plus x2, ELECTRIBE Rhythm Mk ll, iELECTRIBE, Kaossilator, padKONTROL, MicroKONTROL, NanoKey, NanoKontrol, Stage Echo SE-300 |

Hey rrricky,
damn, you got some stuff! i'm a minimalist; hope to perform w/just microstation and microsynth. I was going out with just the synth and a band, but i'm ready to return to my electronic solo roots. (or read that, tired of trying to hold a band together)
Thnx for the good info. _________________ Reesa B. (aka Reesa and The Rooters) |
