I really like when the bass kicks in, great thumpy thing there. I do believe you could rap over this quite easily. The breakdown before 2:30 is quite fun. I checked out that article and it seems you did follow the formula quite well. There are some good tips there and I may try to focus on myself. INteresting for sure. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Cool, very nice beginning. I love it once the bass melody comes in. This has a very solid progression throughout. Nice smooth transitions into the alternate beats, too. And I liked the sound of the ending. The melodies were coming panned in different directions, and it just sounded nice.
I could see this as great background music. If there were vocals added to it, it could be used for much more. One thing I would suggest though is to maybe add some synth pad melodies in there. Or just something very soft to give it a little bit of atmosphere. Just something I would try out.
Other than that, good work. I enjoyed it. _________________ Like my Facebook Page!

First of all thanks for sharing that article. It was an interesting read.
As far as your tune goes, you made some killer bass line! I was glued to my headphones for the first 2 minutes as I could not get enough of that pattern. The second half is still interesting. You have some nice arpeggios in the upper register. The groove variation is also well thought out imho. At approx. 3:20 you could introduce a melody or something to keep the attention high. Alternatively, you could make the tune a bit shorter.
That tiny 8-bit sequence at the end is very cool. My cup of tea! I think you did well, keep working!
cheers

Hi Again
Love the rhythmic parts and the feel over all....
And yes better care to the true velocity for the right volumes... In all .., I agree on the actual composition here ..., It is VERY well united overall!!!
Thanks for this neat tune!!!
Best Regards John |
