|

Hi all
Don't know how much longer I can hold out too.... sadly I can't get my hands on one yet
Just have a question (sorry if it has already been discussed but I couldn't find anything)
The specs state that both the 61 and 76 note models have "semi-weighted" keys - is this true?
If so, I may go for the 61 note this time as I believe there are no other differences except RAM and HDD.
Cheers

Yeah I tried the 61 at Allans Music melbourne last week, it feels weighted, but not too hard like a piano (which I hate). I think I could get use to it...
And yeah, differences with 61 vs 76:
- HD
- Motirised screen |

Why did you write 'Intro', 'Fill', and 'End' under the buttons on the Pa2X |

Hi Pete,
the keys have a nice feel.
Sure is a solid little beast.
I luv it .
The option of automatic fills are great, but it still also has 4 dedicated fill plus break buttons.
I luv the fact it has XG drum sets. Going to make my Yammie conversions, so much easier.

Thanks for your responses

More like pa2x keys, but I think they are a bit different (better?).
I own a pa800. Last week I played the pa3x (61) for 2-3 minutes. The keys are great! |

The extra octave make s a huge difference. the more I use my PA3X the more I like it, but I still think that it should have a 'buffer' section at the right hand end. It looks very strange having the last key and then -- nothing, like there's a huge chunk missing. _________________ Steve M

Now that you mentioned it, it does look a little awkward, but looks like the 61 key is the same too. Pa800 has a USB on that side, maybe they could've put something there, like a fingerprint reader which could unlock the keyboard when it's on standby once you swipe, similar to laptops |
