My korg Micro X powers up, but there is no audio signal traveling from the "line out" of the keyboard to my mixer or amp. I therefore cannot 'hear' any sound. What's wrong ? Any ideas or suggestions ?

You havn't stated what keyboard you're using. This could be vitally relevant information.

Once you know that, you can also post in the correct section to make sure that users of the same model will see your post and help you.
