|
|
can someone please tell why in PROG mode in the main play part when i click on the piano, to the right you will see a setup page then under that you will see a components page. now when you are in the component page everything is in red nothing works . the same goes for setup page the only thing thats in the black is the volume, pan, octave and transpose. i can't here the piano lid position effect release time, velocity time, velocity bias, or velocity intensity. iThe stereo perspective: Player is red also.
Did i load up the right sound in the hard drive or what?
When i went on Korg us web site i watched the SG1 video and his was working fine and they was all green not red like mine _________________ Korg Kronos, Mashine, Motif XF, Fantom X |

Parameters in red are assigned to tone adjust controls.
They will all still allow editing as normal, however. Try them!

Down on the bottom left of the control surface (where all the manual buttons are), there's a Tone Adjust button.
Press it.
You can now use the sliders to adjust the 'tone' or program. _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

I would suggest the following:
1) Go through the Easy Start Guide
2) Start reading the Operation Guide, reading 10 pages a day. Go through the entire book and you will be very comfortable using the Kronos. _________________ ** KORG Product Support Contacts **

OASYS owner here and don't own a Kronos yet - Dan - that sound's like an excellent new feature. To know what's assigned to Tone Adjust - very nice and _very_ useful.

Thanks - it's actually on the OASYS, as well!

I think it might be worthwhile to take a little time to read the manual, as Martin suggests. In the video you change the damper noise level and then play a few notes - but the damper noise happens when you press on the damper pedal. You then reduce the mechanical noise; this is a pretty subtle noise which occurs at the end of the notes. My guess is that everything is working properly!
Hope this helps,
