Thanks, it's would be very good.

Even better if the quality of the forum would be maintained by fair but brave moderation.

This is a forum to share thoughts - yes, on a broad spectrum but still - related to Korg products. I would like to suggest to all: let's discuss the rest somewhere else. Especially what is against the forum rules.

At least, please start a separate thread entitled "OZY ABOUT SEXUALITY" or "IGNORING FORUM RULES" or similar. And use that to post all the embarrassing, mocking, "joking" (?) off topic comments there. I won't care, I won't go there, I won't click on that. All who are interested could find the BEST JOKES there collected and entertain themselves all day long.

Please, don't destroy the forum with hijacking threads. Don't use all possible opportunities to express yourselves - sexual, political and other off topic attitude etc. - posting a supposed "joke" especially when other members politely and repeatedly refused it and found it bad.

Please start your own website or social page instead and unfold your beautiful self there. It's the way.

The majority of members comes here for something else.

Akos, you didn't contribute a single line about Korg instruments to this thread .

You stepped in with the purpose of making a mountain out of a mole hill.

You turned a two-liner (worse: my one-liner to another forumer's two.-liner) into a three pages drama.

Nobody had cared until you got all hot.

Get a life. Please. Will you?

At least until we get that famous "ignore post" button, which will be only too welcome against self-appointed Serious Talk Police.

Not my words, for the record.

You do the same with the forum rules.

I'm waiting for the answer from Sharp, the only one who has the right to decide if it's allowed here. I wonder if he supports your forum activity including posting the mentioned picture entitled "Porn_Set_5.jpg".

Was it a must for you to do it? (I mean in medical sense.)

Sorry but I don't see this image or the path to the file as a breach of forum rules.
The image contains nothing, and as for the path, I wouldn't have even seen the word porn in the URL unless told.

Regards
Sharp.

Sorry Akos, but I don't see how that makes sense. If a picture is adult material, that should be apparent from the picture itself. Not everything that is from an adult source is adult material. In order for something posted on a forum to be inappropriate, it should be in breach of the rules not just in its original context, but in isolation or the context of the thread.

Hi Dave,

No problem. I think everybody can understand Ozy's intention, in isolation or in the context.

Not important anymore.

Although I may be going against general opinion I would like to support Akos to a certain extent.

He has put himself out to supply us with a very good Kronos demo and I am grateful to him for that and many of his other contributions.

Although I do not have any particular problem with the picture Ozy supplied I do agree that, more often than not, a topic of discussion (thread) suddenly heads off in a completely differnent direction and the original subject gets lost from then on.

I have no problem with humour in the threads, as long as it does not completely hijack the original dicussion/topic.

These are just my thoughts, which I am completely entitled to. If anyone objects they are equally entitled to do so.

I agree completely panrixx.

I too appreciate what Akos has contributed to these forums, but I just disagree with him on this point. I also frequently disagree with some of my best friends - it doesn't mean that I don't like them.

We need to remember to keep our online discussions civil, and not say things that we wouldn't were it not for the relative anonimity of the internet.

Ozy, not to talk about you, but to adress you directly.
I don't think this single picture is a problem.

But what really CAN unnerve is the unusually high frequency of completely pointless sexual allusions (often rather provoking pity for a maybe totally frustrated old man, than really being funny) in context with the degree of wanting to make a joke of everything no matter what.

I certainly like a good joke in proper context, like probably most of us do, but nobody needs constant 'clown subthreads' within threads.

I hereby free you of the black pirate treatise you signed when subcribing to this board, to mock 90% of everything you meet instantly. Laughing As soon as we don't have to deal with the overdose syndrome, everything will be fine.

This feedback is not meant for bad, despite being clear cut.

Thank you very much, Jim and panrixx, for summarizing the thoughts which I completely agree. (Dave, it's not a problem if you disagree. It's your right.)

Sharp, please realize, not every member likes reading Ozy's posts the way you like or tolerate it. For some reason you don't want to say to him: stop it, it's enough man!

Anyone can list Ozy's all posts on the forum. 1661 so far in 27 months. Most of them fall into the "entertainment" category. Many of us have this experience: you are watching a topic, you got an email notification, you click it - and what you find? Another "joke" or "yadda yadda" - his own words - from Ozy. A meaningless, useless comment in most cases. Do we really need this experience again and again? 1600 was not enough already?

I personally still can scroll down in these cases.

But if he goes further and starts to drop provoking thoughts purposefully crossing the border of forum rules and/or some members' feelings then I think you are the person, as moderator, who should warn him. For the sake of the community. For the peace. For having high quality content again - that went down because of these activities.

In fact I realized many appreciated members are quiet or posting only very rarely for a long time (or maybe left already). You will stay here with the "entertaining group". Now I'm seriously thinking about what to do.

I agree. Ozy, a lot of your posts are funny and do make me laugh (most times). However, they are also often distracting. Maybe, less is more Wink

I wrote ONE LINE, three pages of comment followed. I went to work at 3pm, came back at 8.30 pn and this is still going on. Either my words have the density of enriched uranium, or...

... maybe, contrary to what he says, Akos LOVES a totally idle and useless chatter.
